Sean Leonard is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare provider with a strong foundation in both primary care and mental health. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University and is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Currently, he is expanding his expertise by completing a post-master’s certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Rocky Mountain University (RMU) and pursuing specialized certification in Addiction Medicine.
With a practice serving the greater San Diego County, Sean brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge and real-world experience to his work—particularly in caring for geriatric patients and those navigating the challenges of addiction. His approach is rooted in a deep commitment to understanding the complexities of psychiatric care, allowing him to provide comprehensive support for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.
Outside of his professional life, Sean has led a dynamic and inspiring journey—having traveled the globe as a professional soccer player. He now enjoys mountain biking through Southern California’s scenic trails and values quality time with his family. Sean lives in Oceanside, CA, with his wife and their seven children.
