Brett Hand is a dedicated and compassionate professional with years of experience in the addiction treatment field. As someone in long-term recovery himself, Brett brings a deep level of empathy and understanding to his work, walking alongside clients not just as a leader, but as someone who has personally faced the struggles of addiction and come out the other side.
Brett’s passion for helping others find sobriety is rooted in both his own recovery journey and his belief that every person deserves a chance at a better life. He has worked in various roles throughout the treatment world and considers this work to be the most fulfilling and purpose-driven path he’s ever taken. As Program Director at Sacred Journey Recovery, Brett is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and encouraged to grow.
Outside of the clinical setting, Brett is deeply connected to the outdoors. Rock climbing, camping, and backpacking have taught him lessons in resilience, peace, and perseverance—values that mirror the recovery journey. Nature continues to be a source of strength and grounding in his life, and he often draws from those experiences to help others reconnect with their own inner strength.
Through a blend of personal insight, professional experience, and genuine care, Brett strives to be a steady presence for those seeking lasting recovery and transformation at Sacred Journey.
